Ingesting Content For HEVC Streams
Currently, in basic ingest via FTP or Aspera or Backlot, we cannot provide the targeted profile for processing. The profile selected is always the default profile for processing; however, we should be able to support targeted profile in XML and CSV-based ingest by supplying the profile ID set up for HEVC.
Your default Backlot processing profile must use HEVC to correctly upload assets, or you can use the Ooyala manifest and MRSS ingestion by adding the tag <ooyala:profileguid> to point to an HEVC specific profile.
