Setting the Date Range on the Business Intelligence Page
Was this article helpful?
The default date range for the day time segment is different from the default date range for the 15 minute and hour time segments.
For the day time segment the default date range is from 12:00am of the first day to 11:59pm of the last day in the week (8 24 hour segments). For the 15 minute and hour time segments the default date range is from 12:00pm of the first day to 12:00pm of the last day in the week (7 24 hour segments).
This difference in default date range means that your metric data will change when you switch between the day time segment and the 15 minute or hour time segments. We will change the date range limitation for 15 minute and hour time segments to match the day time range (8 24 hour segments) in an upcoming release.
- Click in the Start Date and End Date fields and use the calendars to set the date range.
(Optional) If you have selected 15 Mins or
Hour as the time segment for the Business
Intelligence page, select a time (in 15 minute or hour
intervals) for the start date and end date.
Note: If you select a date range that is not valid for the time segment you have selected, the time will autocorrect to the closest valid time. For example, if you have selected the 15 Mins time segment and select 12:05 pm and 12:55 pm as the times for the Start Date and End Date, the times will autocorrect to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm, respectively. If you have selected the Hour time segment and select 12:20 pm and 12:47 pm as the times for the Start Date and End Date, the times will autocorrect to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm, respectively.
- (Optional) Instead of selecting specific dates, from the pulldown for Select from
Presets, choose one of the following. A week is defined as
Monday - Sunday.
Note: The following are based on the provider's time zone, which may differ from your current time zone. Today means today for the provider's time zone, Yesterday means yesterday for the provider's time zone, and so on. For 2016, this Year means 2016-01-01 to today in the provider's time zone, Last Year means 2015-01-01 to 2015-12-31, and Last 12 Months means a date range from 12 months ago to today in the provider's time zone.
